From the trail around Lake Lincoln.  Trail was supposed to be 1.5 mi.  GPS tracked Pat and Jerry's trek at 2.43 .  Guess they were a bit off the trail.  Several folks walked along this trail during our visit.

Just as these wonderful ladies arrived at the Lincoln Center....three, yes three school buses with kids were checking in and starting on their tour of the area.  Us, we started our tour on the outside and got to tag along behind one school group and learned a few things about being in the country....like what a three leaf vine in the ivy family was and how big a tree should be to use in building log homes way back when.

Then we were off to visit a quilt shop northeast of Jasper but got stopped at the DQ in Huntingburg and by the 24 community yard sales going on there.  I think Jean C. got the prize for the best find in the yard sales.  But my rechargeable electric carving knife works.  When we finally found the shop.....it was kaput!  The GPS on Pat's phone had us through some pretty areas of Jasper before we finally located the "shop", so not all was lost on that leg of the trip.

I think we might need to give our Wagonmaster some pointers on where the vehicles should be parked in the campgrounds or the proper way to fell a tree.    :o)   Congratulations on the new camper.  Very Nice.
And yes, the picture comments are "out of context".
